By working with principals for over ten years, KSLC has created a proven leadership framework consisting of nine major domains. Based on their experience, school leaders who excel in the KSLC leadership domains are extremely successful. Our leadership supports are intended to provide prolonged support to school leaders. When working with KSLC, a designated KSLC consultant immerses him/herself in a partnership with the school leader. During the term of the contract, KSLC provides the following supports.

Conducts self-assessment survey using KSLC’s Effective Leadership Framework.

Executes shadow visits to attain better understanding of leadership behaviors demonstrated by school leader

Devisesstrategic plans to maximize the leader’s professional growth

Conducts follow up visits to support the leader in achieving goals from the strategic plan

Leads regularly scheduled virtual support sessions

Measures the leader’s growth by conducting post assessment survey utilizing KSLC’s Effective Leadership Framework
Additionally, when utilizing Personal Principal Coach Training, a KSLC consultant is available for professional advice for issues related to staff, students, parents, central office, supervisors, etc. By utilizing school’s funds allocated for professional development, principals, district leaders, superintendents, and charter school organizations contract with KSLC to provide this service.
